Re: Gap

Highgarden,

I placed 2 wood bushels on the market at 15.00 each (there were no hides), which I bought at 5.00 each. This should equalize the cost of buying the shirt since you should be able to resell them at 5.00 each.

Thanks again for the shirt. I love it.

Yours,
Buckminster

Trust

From : Ayken , Lord of Mynydd y Dref
Date : 2008-08-24 08:55:55

Sir Buck,

I thank you for the gift of your trust.
I know you are/were suspiscious of my intent and I shall respond now, as I did in the tavern.

You have nothing to fear from me Sir. I am a simple priest bringing Jah’s light to this fine town. Nothing more than that, I promise you.

Best Regards
Ayken

we heard they might be on the run and new that at lest tosher had left.

Old grudges are still being bantered about and foolish paranoia is effecting some decisions – the more sane leadership is ignoring all this.

Two armies now, perhaps a third and forth meeting them – they will be given no quarter.

Re: how’s ayr today?

Lord Kondo,

Things are much improved. Tosher’s Fury Fairy broke camp and left Ayr last night. I can’t say where they went, but I wouldn’t shed a tear to see them all bound for Heck – if you catch my meaning. The uncomfortable pressure of their “visit” led to strained relationships here that won’t soon be repaired. Feel free to shout ‘for Ayrshire’ as you meet them on the field and blunt their pointy heads.

Yours,
Buckminster

Re: defense

Ari,

I’m unwilling to voluntarily defend the town today. In addition, I have left the militia group so that I will not be mistakenly depended on to do so in the future.

Firyaion

Firyaion,

I noticed that recently you purchased 1 vegetable from me on the market at 12.50. Currently, I and other farmers have raised our food prices temporarily as a show of displeasure with the potentially hostile army at out city’s gates. It’s our intention to offer only over-priced food while they are intruding here in Ayr.

I realize that this tactic will cause discomfort for some citizens of Ayr who depend on the market for food. Therefore, I strongly urge folks who require food to go to the Cock & Bull tavern and buy food from there instead of the market. The C&B currently has meat and veggies priced well below the market rate.

In your case, this means you would have saved about 70 pence on the vegetable you bought from me, had you instead purchased it from the C&B. If you wish, I can reimburse you for this loss a few days from now once the intruding army has left our city.

Yours,
Buckminster
