Re: RSA

Wandress,
Yes, I have left the RSA. Back on August 22, Ariani sent out the call to defend the power (during the time Tosher’s Army’s stayed in Ayr.) In response to her email, I informed her that I was unwilling to defend the town and that I had left the militia group so that I would not “be mistakenly depended on to do so in the future.”

Since it was common to receive orders from Ari, I assumed informing her of my resignation was official enough. If I was wrong, I apologize. But, just to be clear, I have not served in the militia since August 21 and I have no intention of serving in the foreseeable future.

Yours,
Buckminster

Re: Gap

Highgarden,

I placed 2 wood bushels on the market at 15.00 each (there were no hides), which I bought at 5.00 each. This should equalize the cost of buying the shirt since you should be able to resell them at 5.00 each.

Thanks again for the shirt. I love it.

Yours,
Buckminster

Re: how’s ayr today?

Lord Kondo,

Things are much improved. Tosher’s Fury Fairy broke camp and left Ayr last night. I can’t say where they went, but I wouldn’t shed a tear to see them all bound for Heck – if you catch my meaning. The uncomfortable pressure of their “visit” led to strained relationships here that won’t soon be repaired. Feel free to shout ‘for Ayrshire’ as you meet them on the field and blunt their pointy heads.

Yours,
Buckminster

Re: defense

Ari,

I’m unwilling to voluntarily defend the town today. In addition, I have left the militia group so that I will not be mistakenly depended on to do so in the future.

Buckminster

Firyaion

Firyaion,

I noticed that recently you purchased 1 vegetable from me on the market at 12.50. Currently, I and other farmers have raised our food prices temporarily as a show of displeasure with the potentially hostile army at out city’s gates. It’s our intention to offer only over-priced food while they are intruding here in Ayr.

I realize that this tactic will cause discomfort for some citizens of Ayr who depend on the market for food. Therefore, I strongly urge folks who require food to go to the Cock & Bull tavern and buy food from there instead of the market. The C&B currently has meat and veggies priced well below the market rate.

In your case, this means you would have saved about 70 pence on the vegetable you bought from me, had you instead purchased it from the C&B. If you wish, I can reimburse you for this loss a few days from now once the intruding army has left our city.

Yours,
Buckminster

I bought a pair of shoes

Highgarden,

Today, while browsing the market, I saw a wonderful pair of new shoes for sale at 25 pounds and decided to purchase them. Afterwords, I began to wonder if they were perhaps meant for someone else. I haven’t tried them on yet, so if they aren’t for me, I could still sell them to their rightful future owner. Please let me know.

Yours,
Buckminster

Veggie prices

Drake,
Someone has placed a group of veggies on the market at 12.70 and all the other cheaper ones have sold out. Edward’s won’t be ready ’till tomorrow, and it’ll be a few more days ’till mine are as well.

(I can’t believe I’m gonna ask this.)

Could you please put about 10 veggies on the market at 12.00 to force the price back down without causing a freefall?

Yours,
Buckminster

Missed You

Dear Highgarden,

We missed you at the tavern tonight. The evening started off slowly, but picked up after reset. I though the enclosed picture would let you know what you missed. I hope you had a good time doing… whatever. I did.

Thank you for your kindness

Lady Emmly,

Thank you so much for your kindness. Noblefolk like yourself justify the separation of the classes. I look forward to greeting you when you travel to Ayr town. On you visit here, I’d recommend patronizing the Cock & Bull, our premiere tavern. The proprietor, Drake_roanoake and his bartender Allorardagon are good and helpful hosts, worth meeting on any visit to our cozy little town. Thank you again, and Jah bless.

Yours,
Buckminster
